User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a French Firefox.
- Open Settings.
- Search "barre d'adresse" (without quote marks).
Actual results:
Firefox indicates there is no result in settings for "barre d'adresse".
Expected results:
When you enter "barre d’adresse" (note the typographical apostrophe) in the settings search box, Firefox returns many results. The search for "barre d'adresse" should return the same results.
Also search with hyphen works badly if U+2011 is used in text on web page... "Match diacritics" doesn't help.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Preferences' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

This is likely because the quotes we use are "smart quotes" and not the ASCII apostrophe. We should make the Preferences' find-in-page use similar behavior as the Find bar's "Match Diacritics" feature.
Bug 1373286 is already on file for this issue so I'll close your bug as a duplicate of that.
