Expected Behavior:
Sign in is performed.

Actual Behavior:
Sign in is not performed.

Notes:

  1. Screenshot attached.
  2. The issue is not reproducible with ETP disabled.
Flags: needinfo?(pbz)
Severity: -- → S2

After a couple of attempts I can reproduce this on Firefox 93 release with ETP disabled. The issue may not be ETP related at all.
Oana, can you reproduce this?

Flags: needinfo?(pbz) → needinfo?(oana.arbuzov)

Note that for testing, any credentials will work, valid or not. The bug happens before the login request goes through. A "Login incorrect..." message means you aren't hitting the bug.

I've also had this on Firefox 93.1.0 on Android. It's worth noting that I've had it occasionally log me in but it usually fails, although it occurred to me that might be an issue with FedEx's JavaScript not handling the autofilled username and password properly. Clearing the fields and manually typing a login also usually fails though.

Paul Zühlcke, after further investigation, it seems to happen on first attempts to sign in on a clean profile, regardless if ETP is Standard or disabled.

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 95.0a1 (2021-10-20)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Flags: needinfo?(oana.arbuzov)
No longer blocks: etp-breakage
Severity: S2 → --
Component: Privacy: Anti-Tracking → Desktop
Priority: P3 → --
Product: Core → Web Compatibility

I was not able to reproduce the issue. After selecting the authentification method, I was able to successfully sign into my test account, with my profile being displayed after clicking the sign-in button

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 98.0a1 (2022-01-10) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

It is safe to say this can be closed.
