RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1623340

People

(Reporter: u690577, Unassigned, NeedInfo)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0

Steps to reproduce:

Join a meeting on Microsoft Teams using Firefox.

Actual results:

Microsoft Teams will prompt you to install the desktop app.

Expected results:

As in Chromium-based browsers, Microsoft Teams can be used through the Firefox.

Could it be that the problem is due to the fact that Firefox is missing a feature?

All Chromium-based browsers work. What is the component that these browsers have and Firefox does not?

That's a question that you need to ask Microsoft, and not in a bug report against Mozilla Firefox. Did you read my previous comments here?

To me, this looks as a dupe of Bug 1623340, so I'm marking it accordingly. If anyone disagrees, please feel free to reopen it.
