Steps to reproduce:
What did you do?
Go to this shakaplayer demo url on Firefox.
Set playback speed to 2.0
Listen to the end, you will hear static sounds from the audio
Actual results:
when you play audio from the url below on firefox, at 2x speed, you hear static sounds

Expected results:

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
Using Firefox 93 or greater, can you navigate to about:config
and set the media.eme.max-throughput-ms
preference to 300, restart Firefox, and see if that helps with the issue?

I'm unable to reproduce this issue in FF 100. I also see that media.eme.max-throughput-ms is set to 500 by default.
