We scrub __PYVENV_LAUNCHER__ in a bunch of places.
This is because (IIRC), on Mac, __PYVENV_LAUNCHER__ intercepts attempts to subprocess other Python executables (such as virtualenvs) and forces them to run with the system python instead.
However, __PYVENV_LAUNCHER__ should be cleared by the time application-level Python scripts run as of 3.7.
