In my persist directory I have 96cd358e3eed-shippable--autoland--target.dmg (from june 30, 2020, so not available anymore for download).

Mozregression is able to use cached nightlies (whether or not they are older than a year) and it is also able to use cached autoland builds from within the past year.

Trying a more recent autoland build (so it's available for download) that I have in my persist direction 23f67b8ae851-shippable--autoland--target.dmg so the filename format seems to be the same, and mozregression is using the cached build.
