Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0
Steps to reproduce:
I upgraded Ubuntu to 21.10 (wayland) from 20.04 (wayland), WebGL stop working. I am tested it on:
https://webglreport.com/
Actual results:
× This browser supports WebGL 1, but it is disabled or unavailable.
× This browser supports WebGL 2, but it is disabled or unavailable.
In dev console:
Failed to create WebGL context: WebGL creation failed:
- tryNativeGL (FEATURE_FAILURE_NO_DISPLAY)
- Exhausted GL driver options. (FEATURE_FAILURE_WEBGL_EXHAUSTED_DRIVERS)
Expected results:
WebGL 1/2 should work.
--
Before upgrading ubuntu WebGL works fine.
In chrome WebGL works before and after upgrade.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Canvas: WebGL' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Ubuntu replaced the Firefox Debian package with a Snap package. Chromium is already such one.
Firefox Snap 94 (currently Beta) contains the fix, it will become Stable on 2021-11-02.
Snap problems are tracked here: bug 1665641
