User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0
Steps to reproduce:
First, maximize Firefox. Then, kill Firefox (some form of killall firefox
). Then start it again. Repeat this process until it automatically restores the session, rather than showing the session restore page. Even then, it might take a few tries.
Actual results:
The restored window will take up the bottom-left quarter of the screen, and the rest of the screen will be extremely glitchy, with desktop icons showing through above windows and stuff. Also, any mouse actions will act as if the window was at its correct position. The issue can be fixed by resizing the window in any way. I included a screenshot, but GNOME's screenshot tool hid most of the glitches (ie. desktop icons showing through).
Expected results:
The window should just appear as maximized.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Yes, this is known bug (can't find the dupe now). It's better on Wayland.
