Attached image High RAM usage.jpg

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0

Steps to reproduce:

Just left any YouTube video playing in the background while browsing on other websites for awhile and RAM usage is quite high in Task Manager (both browser and Windows Task Manager report). Ran on a completely new install with and without extensions being enabled (i.e. UBlock Origin) and Hardware Acceleration options turned off.

https://www.youtube.com

Actual results:

RAM usage starts climbing up to using between 33-40% memory while having YouTube playing in the background.

Expected results:

Minimize RAM usage in a better way for multi-task users (especially for people with higher RAM capacity i.e. 16GB or more).
