RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1729930

People

(Reporter: leopold.freeman.0816, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start the firefox with troubleshoot mode on
  2. I saved hundreds of logins, most of usernames are not email, just some simple string, less than 20 bytes.

Actual results:

When I go to a login page, sometimes I want to use another username, but I found edit username in input box is too slow, especially when I try to delete some characters, e.g., <input class="css-1ow9mne-input-input" name="user" autocapitalize="none" placeholder="email or username" aria-label="Username input field">

Expected results:

I should not feel any lag when I edit the input box.

Definitely not a11y. Not sure if this is the right component, but this looks like something related to password autofill perhaps?

:zikan do you have Primary Password enabled and if so, does using Refresh Firefox on about:support helps?

:zikan do you have Primary Password enabled and if so, does using Refresh Firefox on about:support helps?

Yes, I have Primary Password enabled, and Refresh Firefox on about:support does not work.

Flags: needinfo?(leopold.freeman.0816)

It is the primary password. If I disable the it, the problem fixed!

Thank you for letting us know. If you turn Primary Password back again, does it work well?

Yes, your guess is correct, it works well after I turn Primary Password back again.
