Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Firefox on linux
  • Open bookmarks menu by pressing ctrl+b
  • Delete one of the bookmark listed in the bookmark menu
  • Immediately Firefox crashes

Actual results:

Firefox crashes by segmentation fault. After starting the Firefox again, I can see that bookmark is deleted.

Expected results:

Bookmark should be deleted without firefox getting crashed.

System information:

  • WM sway version 1.6-fc25e494 (Nov 6 2021, branch 'master')
  • Linux 5.15.0-gentoo-bwqr-x86_64 #2 SMP Sat Nov 6 16:41:41 +03 2021 x86_64 AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

I will try to provide a stack trace if the aforementioned steps do not cause the segmentation fault.

Here is the crash report id bp-8a79f321-a514-4b6b-9dfd-b656b0211108 obtained from arch linux installed in a vm. I used gnome 40.4.0 as DE. It was going to take a little more time to get stack trace on the host machine, so I used a vm. Let me know if more information is needed. I might missed some debugging steps.
