User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0
Steps to reproduce:
Went to addons.mozilla.org and clicked on install button of any extension
Actual results:
The extension installer dialog didn't showing up
Expected results:
It should have showed me the installer dialog so I could install the extension

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Installer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) And does this also happen with a new and empty profile? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile

Definitely not part of the installer. I've reassigned this to WebExt :: General so that the relevant team can triage further.

For some reason enabling and disabling safe mode fixed the problem for me

Hello,
I could not reproduce the issue on the latest Release (94.0.1/20211103134640), nor Nightly (96.0a1/20211109190508) under Windows 10 x64 and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Installed several add-on from addons.mozilla.org and each time the extension installer dialog showed up.
