Since the refresh button has been moved to the address bar, it is no longer possible to stop a page from loading. As soon as I press the cross, nothing happens and the page keeps loading until it finishes to.
Between this, and because it's not possible to disable the new refresh feature that allows to reload a page by pulling down from the top of a page, which makes me reload too often pages I don't even want to reload (it's even worse when I lose the text I was typing), iOS shows me higher data and power consumption than ever with Firefox.

Hello, Jeremy and thank you for this report!
Please note that I was able to reproduce this issue only on the Focus Nightly build but I was not able to reproduce it on Firefox for iOS and Focus for iOS.
I added this issue on GitHub as a follow-up.
Can you please provide the following:
- Device (with iOS) and what build you were able to reproduce this issue.
- A video/gif with the issue?

Hi Andrei,
Glad to help. I'm on the latest Firefox Daylight 39.0 (6519), on a 2020 iPhone SE, running iOS 15.0.2. This has happened from the very first moment the refresh button was moved to the address bar.
Sure, I could record the screen but there won't really be anything else to show but a page loading and me trying to stop it without you seeing it. But let me know if that's what you want to see and I'll do that.
Finally, should I make a separate post about disabling refresh by pulling down from the top of a page to prevent unwanted reloads?

The severity field is not set for this bug.
:jeevans, could you have a look please?
For more information, please visit auto_nag documentation.
Refresh button is now working as intended thanks to the latest version. You can close this as resolved, thanks.
Finally, unlike now, refresh by pulling down from the top of a page should still be possible to disable. Too many unwanted reloads that drain the battery for nothing.
