Hello! I have tried to reproduce the issue with firefox 96.0a1(2021-11-17) on Ubuntu 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce it with the steps provided in the description.

Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?

  1. Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
  2. Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
  3. Do you have any addons installed if so can you list them?
  4. Could you please provide more detailed steps on how you managed to reproduce the issue and the firefox version are you using.

Thank you for trying to reproduce this, and getting back so quickly. Before I try the other things, I am using Debian sid/unstable with GNOME (gnome-shell 41.1-1) but with the X.Org session. I am unable to reproduce this with Wayland I believe. Can you please check it with X.Org?

Would be nice to find out, why the QA team cannot reproduce this.
