Firefox only interprets the system-ui font when it is unquoted, whereas Chrome interprets it quoted as well as unquoted. This is inconsistent behavior across two different browsers.

I've attached a testcase that was provided in the webcompat issue

This is invalid, or rather a chrome bug, quoted font families shouldn't be treated like generic families.
