+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1736432 +++

In that bug there's this remark:

(Relatedly, I was speaking with EKR who was able to get a filename (I think he said it was /tmp/webrtc.log) but in his case the file was empty.)

I just hit the same problem. This latter part doesn't seem to have been addressed.

To make it clear, I'm on a pretty standard Ubuntu Linux and /tmp/WebRTC.log was the default.
