Steps to reproduce:

When having multiple tabs open on YouTube.com if I switch to another tab while a video is playing the speaker icon on the tab that is in the background that is playing the video the speaker icon disappears unless I hover my mouse over that tab. When I hover my mouse over the tab playing the video in the background the speaker icon reappears until I move my mouse away from that tab.

I am on Windows 11 Pro, build 21H2. Firefox is up to date on version 94.0.2 64 bit.

Actual results:

I looked for this bug and found bug 1707242 which covers this. It is marked as "resolved fixed". It is NOT fixed. This STILL happens and is easily reproducible (it happens on my laptop and on my wife's PC and my step-daughter's PC, too. All are Windows 11 Pro build 21H2. All are on the latest build of FireFox 94.0.2 64 bit.

Expected results:

The speaker icon should always display on ALL tabs where audio is playing whether in foreground or background. This is how it worked until the bug 1707242 was introduced.
