RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1735905

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

hi,
After updating from firefox-esr 78.15.0 to firefox-esr 93.3.0 I noticed audio no longer worked in google meet. After a lot of testing, I can now easily reproduce this issue without the need for a google account.

  1. create new firefox profile
  2. open https://www.audiocheck.net/ and play the quick sound check
  3. note that the audio plays just fine
  4. in a new tab open https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/audio/ and press play.
  5. note that there is no sound, even thought it looks like there should be.
  6. go back to the old audiocheck tab and try to play the audio file again, note that there is no sound.
  7. close the webrtc tab, sound is still broken

At this point the only way to get sound working again is to restart the browser.

Is there anyway to get some kind of debug log?

System information:
Gentoo, pulseaudio, x11, firefox-esr 91.3.0

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core

I cannot reproduce this in Firefox 94 on my Ubuntu 21.04. Would you mind

  1. navigating to your about:support, click Copy raw data to clipboard, past it to a file, and then upload here
  2. trying the same scenario in Firefox Nightly
