Steps to reproduce:
OS: Fedora 34, 35

- Copy text from firefox
- Paste in in any external app
Actual results:
Sometimes (not sure, but guess when using multiple windows of firefox) copying from firefox and pasting to external apps freeze or crash them (everything is OK when copy&paste from and info firefox). It's happen only sometimes, not always. Being fixed by re-launching browser.

What does crash - Firefox or the target app? Also which app do you use - can you reproduce that with gedit for instance?

External app.

Yes, I can reproduce that with gedit
- as other GTK apps, it does not crash, but freezes for seconds and no text is pasted.

Good! Please run Firefox with MOZ_LOG="WidgetClipboard:5" env variable on terminal, do the paste to gedit and attach the log here.
Thanks.

There is no log after pasting, only after copying: https://pastebin.com/hsKJYFYm.
It was plain text from div
element on web page

The bug has a release status flag that shows some version of Firefox is affected, thus it will be considered confirmed.

Do you still see it?
Thanks!
Sorry, missed your message.
On the same setup (updated to Fedora 39), Firefox 121.0.1 - issue seems to be fixed - I can not reproduce it anymore.
Should I resolve ticket as WORKSFORME?
