Linux/10-28-08-M11: (Linux only) 1) Select newsgroup msg from the Thread Pane and try to read the newsgroup messgae from the message body. 2) Actual Result: There is a flash (from the other web page) in the message body before loading each newsgroup message. Expected Result: Should load newsgroup message directly without a flash (from the other web page) in the message body.

Reassign to sspitzer. Seth, do you think this is really a layout thing?

yes, this is a layout issue. it looks like we are displaying a region before we have drawn to it. re-assign to pavlov.
yeah, uh.. thanks. why are you changing messages in the display before you are ready to display the new message... things are getting cleared way to early.

I think this old bug (last seen 3 years ago) is fixed. Just checked on Linux and the only thing I see is that it takes a while when you click in the thread pane until the message is displayed (because the body has to be downloaded). But that happens also on Windows and this bug is explicitly "Linux only". And there is no "other webpage". So I'm going to mark it as WFM if nobody objects.
-> WFM because it works and nobody objected.
