User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021014 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021014 In any case of downloading or through clicking on a link or by right-clicking --> save linktarget as, NO download will start. Also: tools --> downloadmanager will not have any effect. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click any downloadable link 2. either right-click and save linktarget as.. 3. tools --> downloadmanager Actual Results: 1: C:\DOCUME~\MYNAME\LOCALS~1\TEMP\anydownloadablefile could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator. 2: nothing hapens. even not a shiver 3: nothing hapens. Nothing. Expected Results: it should do something! Important: I have had this problem with a previous nightly build (about 3 weeks ago?) 10-14 I downloaded (by using Explorer) this version: Mozilla 1.2b Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021014 and it still would not function. Today i downed (by using Explorer again) Gecko/20021016 and it didn't download either. Then I re-installed an older version (1.2a) and it worked again. I UNinstalled 1.2a and REinstalled 20021016 and it decided not to function anymore. So that is the reason installing 20021014 again, also because of 1.2a has a few buggy things for viewing certain types of webpages. I have searched in the bugzilla dbase, but could not find symilar problems (one appearing more or less the same in an apple-enviroment: bug: 155426 and a lot of other new bug-entries about the downloadm. so thats why severity set on Major) btw, no log files are produced about the problem, because of there is no crash or whatsoever!
