i've found type ahead find quite useful in mozilla. it'd be good to have it in chimera, too. (phoenix has it, but then again, it's trunk-based, not branch-based.)

we'll get this for free when we move to mozilla 1.2.

hm, find as you type doesn't seem to be working with today's (2003.05.05.04) build. a. start typing in a page (should automatically start fayt in link's mode) --nothing happens. b. hit apostrophe key ('), then start typing in a page (should manually start fayt in link's mode) --nothing happens. c. hit forward slash key (/), start typing in a page (should manually start fayt in text mode) --nothing happens. any ideas?

works great in 2003.05.06.04. yay! note: the current default behavior is that find as you type automatically finds linked textual content. you can still use the manual shortcuts of / (forward slash) to find all text and ' (apostrophe) to find linked text.

Shoud this be a new bug? In Mozilla you can use find-as-you-type then cmd-g to find again This isn't happening in Camino.

derek, good catch --yes, pls file a separate bug on cmd+G to find again to work with find as you type in camino.
