We need to upgrade postgres to a more recent version. The latest version available is 12.7.

This covers the engineering work we need to do to upgrade.

(If it turns out to be straight-forward, I'll make this a regular bug rather than a tracker bug.)

I tested Socorro with postgresql 12.7 and everything seems fine, so I'm not worried about a migration this week.

We updated the stage db and that went fine.

We're estimating a 30 minute outage to upgrade production. This only affects the Crash Stats website--it doesn't affect crash collection or processing.

Database upgrade is scheduled for 17:00 PST on January 19th, 2022.

I sent out notification emails and messaged Matrix channels. I added a status message to Crash Stats.

We started at 17:00 PST. It went smoothly. I checked sentry and dashboards afterwards and everything looks good!
