When creating a new message, but not replying:

Tab into the Content area after an empty or filles Subject, the program will not
allow me to type anything.  I have to click the window before I can type my message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new message
2. Tab into text area
3. Enter text

Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
Should allow me to type my message.
