Steps to reproduce:
Hover over tab.
Actual results:
I see the tooltip which is one-line ans spans over my two monitors. This is rather awkward.
Expected results:
I wouldn't expect the tooltip tro cross the borders of firefox window, not to mention it spams over two screens.
Chrome shows only main domain in tooltip.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi,
I have tested your issue on the latest Nightly build 98.0a1 (2022-01-18) and could not reproduce it using Windows 10 with dual monitors (see the screenshot attached) the link is cut off in multiple lines in the tooltip and it ends to the monitor edge. I got the same result if I hover the mouse over the tab.
If the issue is still reproducible on your end, can you please retest this using the latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8) to eliminate the potential causes.

I just tested, I can reproduce what you've shown in your screenshot - the tooltip is good when hovering the address bar. But if I hover the tab in the tab panel, I will still face the same original issue (tooltip spans over everything) and the tooltip is actually different (different font, different look).
