This bug is intended to serve as a tracking bug for the reorganization and
continued development of the new Tech Evangelism project documentation on
www.mozilla.org as a replacement for the content currently hosted at
http://mozilla-evangelism.bclary.com/. Note that since the Tech Evangelism
project documentation is now hosted on mozilla.org, anyone with privileges will
be able to update existing documentation as well as add new documentation.

It is filed in the Tech Evangelism product since the Documentation product does
not have a clear component for non-Developer, non-User, non-Web Developer
documentation.

I have committed a first draft of a redesign after consultation with several
team members however additional work still needs to be accomplished.

I have cc'd all component owners and qa assignees so that we are all involved
from this point on. 

Issues which we must resolve include:

* Developing better procedures and procedure documentation.

* Developing a current list of resources for web developers to use.

* International Component needs and documentation.

* Analysing current bugs and determining effective documentation to address the
  most common issues.

* Updating and Hosting the evangelism letters.

* Coordinating with the Mozilla Documentation project on needed documentation.

I will be filing additional bugs as dependencies of this bug and blocking this
bug with existing bugs such as the letter translation bugs. 

Please let us get organized and develop the resources which will make our
efforts fruitful. Come to #evangelism on irc.mozilla.org to dicuss in real time
or comment this bug or file additional dependent bugs for other Tech Evangelism
documentation needs.

This is a list of things to do.  Among them are to update the projects page,
contact websites that link to old address, get old location off search engine
(use robots.txt) and redirect from old location.

I think we should make a list of the active evangelists and the technologies
with which they are familiar.  That way, when I come across a DOM-related bug, I
can refer it to somebody who has more DOM experience than myself.

the mozilla.org links to mozilla-evangelism.bclary.com have been changed and
mozilla-evangelism.bclary.com has announcments about the move. I think that is
enough for the moment unless someone would like to fork a bug to handle
referring sites.

I agree and disagree about listing contacts on the site. I am afraid of being
used as a support person by the entire web. If they contact me directly then I
am the only one on the hook for answering their questions.

As for help with bugs, we can use the helpwanted keyword can't we? If the status
whiteboard has enough information then others can find issues that need help. 
Also, we need to communicate more through irc. #evangelism has stopped being a
general working channel where this kind of issue could be handled. This should
really be handled in bug 175024.
