Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:95.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/95.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open any web page;
- Go to Menu -> Print;
- Try to change the header and the footer to show the page title, or the page address, or the page number, or the date it was printed.
Actual results:
There is no option on the user interface to change it.
Expected results:
Firefox should have given an option to customize the header and footers on the print output, as it used to do (see https://support.mozilla.org/pt-BR/kb/como-imprimir-paginas-web-no-firefox#w_margens-margens-cabecalho-e-rodape for the old pt-BR interface).

I found a screenshot for the old en-US interface at https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/images/2021-01-07-08-22-43-9f43ee.png.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Printing: Output' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

In bug 1745465 we added a boolean pref print.show_page_setup_menu
. If you open the page about:config
and set that pref to true
you should get the Page Setup menu.

I think the print preview dialog should have a button to open the Page Setup dialog instead of hiding it under a setting only power users will find it.
What do you think about reopening this issue and creating a button on print preview dialog to show the Page Setup?
