RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1600153

People

(Reporter: cybermouse, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0

Steps to reproduce:

Click a link in an email or even from the Firefox 'desktop' home page.

Actual results:

When Firefox is opened from a mail link with one click or from a webloc on my desktop it tends (75%) to open two windows at once . The one behind is always the Firefox home page while the front window is the operative one. They have to be closed individually on the way out. I'm on iMac late 2014 running Big Sur 11.2

Expected results:

Only one window should have opened with the correct page displayed.
