User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Steps to reproduce:
I use the following theme among others...
never had an issue in the past versions of Firefox.
before the Proton UI was introduced.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/starry-space-fantasy/
Install that Theme and as a test so you are using the same as I do..
and check your existing bookmarks and add some bookmark separator(s)
here and there..
Actual results:
and take note that the color of the bookmark separator(s) do not changed to a light color on the dark background of the above theme..
Expected results:
the color of the bookmark separator(s) should change color from dark to light with the change of the theme to dark background.
ps: ask for more info if need.

This issue occurs mostly in the drop down bookmarks from the bookmark toolbar display...
from the main bookmarks menu the bookmark separator(s) are more visible...

It seems that numerous themes lack separators or have very low contrast separators.

Any word on when this will get fixed?
What I would like to see is a manual option to set the light or dark theme independent the themes section.

Hi Mozilla devs.
This issue seems to have resolved itself or at least the theme I have been using for a while doesn't have the issue or
perhaps someone at Mozilla may have fixed it after all these years,
For theme:
Space stars
Space image by Nebulance
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/space-stars/
so you can close this now I guess.
I am currently on Firefox (release channel)(v133.0.3)
