User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Hamburger menu
- More tools
- Customize toolbar…
- Unselect
Title Bar
Actual results:
Bottom left and right corners of the window buttons are sharp, and there's a strange spot on their right
This is very subtle, so I had to disable the background image used on the Tabs Toolbar and set the background color to black
i.e., I used this in userChrome.css
toolbar#TabsToolbar {
background-image: none !important;
background-color: black !important;
}
Expected results:
Bottom left and right corners of the window buttons should be rounded, and that spot shouldn't be there

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Toolbars and Customization' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Putting this into Theme for now, but this might actually be a Widget :: Win32 bug if we're not actually able to fill the background of the native buttons graphic.

Reproduced on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 98.0a1, beta 97.0b9 and release 96.0.3 on windows 7.
Setting up the flags and a Severity of S4.
Not a recent regression as this can be reproducible on Firefox 71.0 as well where not only the edges stick out but the whole outline as well.

Resolving this bug as WONTFIX because Firefox versions >= 116 no longer support Windows versions < 10.
(In reply to Chris Peterson [:cpeterson] from comment #4)
Resolving this bug as WONTFIX because Firefox versions >= 116 no longer support Windows versions < 10.
This sounds just like “oops sorry, we were one step away from fixing it but now we can't since Windows 7 isn't supported anymore :/”
Whereas it has probably been “who the hell cares, let's leave it open without doing anything to fix it until we drop support for Windows 7”
Good job I guess, less work for you. At least you could've been a little more honest and say right off the bat you did not feel like fixing it, it wouldn't have been as bad as it is now (for me as you probably don't give a damn).
Not to mention this occurs on Firefox 98 which should still be supported on “Windows versions < 10” according to you reply.
