User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Steps to reproduce:
Just use Firefox (snap) and the system updates it automatically in the background to a newer version (90.0.3 in this case)
Actual results:
Firefox crash
Expected results:
Ask for Firefox restart or nothing (surely not a crash).

It is very annoying to use the browser and suddenly have a crash. Crashes are never a good thing and a good user interaction.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for the report! Please open about:crashes in your address bar, submit possibly unsent crash reports, open about:support, click on "Copy text to clipboard" and paste it here.

I did not see any Save report button, but I can copy-paste here some of the data (bwt, there were about 10 unsent crash reports). This is the first page/tab.

At least some of my crash reports have this line:
MOZ_CRASH Reason (Sanitized)
adding native font failed: file=/usr/share/fonts/truetype/dejavu/DejaVuSansMono.ttf err=1

Thanks! This crash seems to be still bug 1737810.
Please check if this command helps: snap set core experimental.refresh-app-awareness=true
(Each line on about:crashes has either a submit or view button. Crash IDs would then show up on about:support.
comment 4 fortunately contains a report's UUID: bp-ee2b7feb-215a-4711-90f6-2874a0220130)
