Hi Steph,
The redirection occurs from the website, not from browser-side, however I was able to reproduce the saved login data issue, it does not automatically get filled (or suggested) even though I had a login saved on twitter already.
I'm setting a component in order to involve the development team in reviewing this issue.
Thank you for reporting!

The username field of the twitter sign-in page is a formless input field and it doesn't have an associated password field (multi-page login form).

Update: When I tweet a video on Youtube, both fields to log in are filled out in the new window (for example: https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A//youtu.be/eILW72MxJmU&text=Show%20your%20true%20colors%20with%20Firefox%20%26%20Disney%20and%20Pixar%E2%80%99s%20Turning%20Red&via=YouTube&related=YouTube,YouTubeTrends,YTCreators).
