Steps to reproduce:

Have someone send you a repeating event. Accept, then try to edit all occurrences to add a reminder.

Actual results:

You only get prompted to edit all occurrences when you are the organizer. Therefore, when you add a reminder to a reoccurring event that you were invited to... the reminder is not applied to all occurrences.

Expected results:

You should be prompted to edit all occurrences when adding a reminder to a reoccurring event of which you are not the organizer.

Bug 1737877 mentions the same thing. It's tricky because editing a received event isn't generally possible. But yes, we should explore how to enable editing recipient-only things like reminders or personal comments.

You really should not edit an invitation if you did not create it. Unfortunately that's how our reminder storage currently works. I'm closing this in favor of bug 1737877.
