RFE: Add option to redirect (possible) unwanted popups as TABs in the same
window.

The current popup banning support in Mozilla is quite nice, but it may ban
wanted stuff, too.

Therefore I suggest to add another option which should redirect possible
unwanted popups into TABs which load in the background (e.g. they should not
steal focus from the main TAB).
This would allow a user to look at the TABs on demand.
This is already filed (many times over). Search and dup, please. The "Tabbed
Browser" component is where you want to look.
Whiteboard: DUPEME
This is similar to bug 103843, "New windows created by javascript should appear
as tabs". Differences:
1. This bug is just for unrequested windows.
2. This bug wants unrequested windows to open behind other tabs, and it might
want requested windows to continue to open in front of other tabs.
Summary: RFE: Add option to redirect (possible) unwanted popups as TABs in the same window → add option to redirect unrequested popups as TABs in the same window
Whiteboard: DUPEME
I think this is a dupe of bugs 151444, 152145 and 159091, which all are dupes of
bug 103843. I really do not see the point of spreading the window.open in tabs
on several bugs until a basic frame is in place. Anyway this belongs in Tabbed
Browser.
