Steps to reproduce:

In most cases, when viewing the "CA Owner/Certificate" page for a subordinate CA, the "Same as Parent" checkbox is enabled (applicable to "Policies and Practices Information" and "Audit Information").

While this is a valuable identifier, it would be even more helpful if the child record could inherit the corresponding data from the parent's record. This enhancement would eliminate time spent navigating to the parent CA record, observing the desired information, and then navigating back to the child record for continued review.

Actual results:

N/A

Expected results:

See requested feature enhancement above.

We also seem to have an opportunity to inherit data from the parent / CA owner in the "Other CA Information" section. Please consider that in the scope of the enhancement, as well.

Thank you!

Questions for Ryan:
Do you plan to use this information in reports?
Or do you only need to see the information in the UI when looking at the certificate record in the CCADB?

Your decision will help us identify if we need to create individual "inherited..." formula fields or simply display the information via custom page.
