Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016

After starting a download, there is nothing in download manager that actually
shows that the download is progressing. Not even an entry for the downloaded
file. Downlaod manager is completely empty.

This has become worse. Before downloading this version (1.2b), I thought the
downlaod manager was sluggish. I had also noted that neither the download
progress nor download speed was updated, unless I closed the download manager
and opened it again. And now, as I wrote, the new file does not show at all.

The download goes on alright, and when the file is downloaded, the correct
helper application is lanched.

If I switch to Mozilla 1.0.1, then I can see the downloads, finished and
cancelled, that were started in Mozilla 1.2b

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a file to download
2. Start to download
3. Wait

Actual Results:
Download manager opens, but it is completely empty. Then nothing for a long
time, until the file is downloaded completely. Then the correct helper
application is started by Mozilla

Expected Results:
Showed an entry for the downloading file, together with download speed and
progress, which should be updated until the file is downloaded completely. Then
start the correct helper application
