Affected platform:
ALL
Affected versions:
Nightly 99.0a1
Preconditions:
Have media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.display-text-tracks.enabled set to "true".
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Firefox and reach coursera.org (or any site with WebVTT available)
- Start one of the videos and enable the captions
- Click on the PiP Toggle (or use the shortcuts to open it)
- Resize the PIP window to the minimum size allowed
Expected result:
The captions are located at the bottom of the window and are viewable.
Actual Result:
The captions get truncated or hidden entirely on the upper side of the window (on MacOS).
Notes:
Setting a severity of S4.
Not a regression as the WebVTT has been available from Fx99.
On MacOS the subs are "pushed out" of the screen.

I think the patch in bug 1751231 should be preventing this, but I'll defer to Katherine to confirm.
Yes, bug 1751231 will hide the text from the pip window if it is very small (less than 320px wide)

I can confirm that this issue no longer occurs on Nightly 99.0a1 (2022-03-01) on Windows 10, Mac OS 11 and Ubuntu 20.
The text is hidden when too small.
Ania could you please set this to fixed so I can verify it? Thank you.
