User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Steps to reproduce:
How dare you! I find the new print interface an over-simplified mess. Do yo HAVE to copy Chrome?
Most ordinary users don't even know about about:config. Disabling print.tab_modal.enabled is simple arrogance. What ever become of firefox's flexibility. Who made this authoritarian decision?
I've reverted back to version 97. Looks like I'll likely move to Opera or another browser.
Actual results:
print.tab_modal.enabled no longer works in Version 97.
Expected results:
print.tab_modal.enabled should be re-enabled.
I've used Firefox for over a decade. Consider having a smaller ego and put this small feature back into the main branch.
I normally don't rant in a bug database, but here I am.
Thank you.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Printing: Output' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

The preference print.tab_modal.enabled was removed before the expected replacement using an enterprise policy is ready. You can follow bug 1712104 for progress.
