Steps to reproduce:

Uploaded a set of photos (jpg) to Mega. This bug is across all platforms, like Mac, Windows and Ubuntu

Actual results:

Instead of their thumbnails, I see only thumbnails with colored stripes. Some favicons on tabs also have this problem, instead of the favicon graphics there is only a square with the same stripes. Specifically, Trello.

Expected results:

I used to upload photos (jpg) normally and I never had this problem.

What version did you try this against? I see the bug was filed using Firefox 91. Can you try the latest? If it also fails, could you attach your about:support? Thanks!

Tried on FF 97.0.1. Still the same.

Caused by privacy.resistFingerprinting: true. You can enable canvas extraction in the address bar.

I'm even aware of bug 1666160 and I didn't even think of it for this bug. It shows up in some surprising ways.

Did it now. Looks like it works. The fav icon is visible. When I uploaded new photos on Mega, seems normal to me.
