User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:97.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/97.0

Steps to reproduce:

Following https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1733227 I'm filing a new bug.
See the profile over at https://share.firefox.dev/3GX2RSN

Bein on "dunegames.com" scrolling on the site will result in noticeable junk, especially while the embedded Youtube video is in sight. The video it self will not play smooth at all but rather be "stop motion".

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback

Hi,

I have tested your issue in the latest Nightly build 99.0a1 (2022-02-24) but could not reproduce it using Windows 10.
If the issue is still reproducible on your end, can you please retest this using the latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) using a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/AWo6h8) to eliminate the potential causes?

Thanks for the report.

Reporter, I've looked at various profiles and they look indeed problematic. The GPU process is apparently completely overwhelmed, and the website you mention (https://dunegames.com) isn't particularly complex or anything.

Would you mind attaching the "raw data" from about:support (type this in the address bar) so we can check if there is anything weird in the setup?

Does the machine have enough memory to handle this workload, per Window's Task Manager? There is a mention of lots of tabs in bug 1733227, maybe the machine is swapping, and maybe it's using shared memory.

Hi Paul, thanks for chiming in. Here is the ```

Sorry for the halfway message.b
Please find the raw data from about:support attached. Also uploaded is a report from about:memory.
Speaking of which: Memory is no problem whatsoever. Even with the many tabs I have. True, from time to time the overall memory taken might swell up to 3–4 gigabyte, but thats rare and only with long sessions. Right now Firefox eats 1.9 GB of my RAM out of 16 total. The total usage is about 70%.
