This was a regression from a patch which landed on 99, so I'm not sure what the story is with reproducing on older releases. I guess we should file a new bug if there's some kind of pre-existing issue rather than tacking it on to this specific new issue.

I manage to reproduce this issue on Nightly 99.0a1(20220224093648) on macOS 11. Confirmed as fixed( far better quality while rendering) on Nightly 100.a1(20220327213550) and Firefox 99.0b8(20220324185704) on macOS 11, Linux x86_64(Ubuntu 20.04) and Win10 64-bits.
