Regardless of whether i disable cookies in the Preferences Privacy section or under the javascripts section, they still get downloaded to my computer. Also, the option to allow cookies, but only for the current session doesn't work.
Reporter, what version are you using? I believe this might have been fixed already. Try the latest build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/phoenix/nightly/ and report back if you still see this bug with a fresh profile.
I'm using yesterday's nightly build... 20021019
The option to allow cookies only for the current session works now (10/20/2002 build under W2k). AFAIK Blake fixed that yesterday and announced it on the Mozillazine Phoenix forum. Disabling cookies works for me here. I trid it with http://www.newsoffice.de Reporter, could you please give a testcase, where you can reproduce this bug constantly.
Well i have cookies disabled, yet i still have to go into options everyday and clear all of them in the cookie manager...
The bug is gone in the latest nightly build :)
