User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:97.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/97.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Thunderbird 91.6.1 (64bit) on Wayland (in my case openSUSE TW with KDE Plasma 5.24.1)
- Hamburger Menu -> Tools -> Message Filters
- Click on New
- Set up the filter rules by clicking on one of the filter rules' comboboxes
Actual results:
The combobox opens, but it doesn't close if you click somewhere else, but only if you select an item or press ESC. Also the opened list de-attaches from its control when the window is moved.
So far I could not reproduce this issue at other areas of Thunderbird, like its main menu or its main settings.

Version: Thunderbird 91 → Thunderbird 102
Thanks for the update. We prefer to keep version set at the earliest known version of the problem

Another example that will likely be fixed in 115?

Mh, no I doubt it. Those selectors will most likely stay the same.
This seems like a toolkit issue not handling Wayland properly.
