Details
Steps to reproduce:
- Set up multiple email accounts and test working OK
- Create multiple calendars, linked to CalDAV source (Nextcloud). Create test events.
- Right click calendar name in side bar -> Properties
- Select one of the email accounts from 1) under "Email:"
- Check "Prefer client-side email scheduling" box
- Click OK to close dialog
- Double-click blank space on a future day to create new event.
- Add title "Test event example"
- Click "Invite Attendees" and type external email address.
- Click OK.
- Click "Send and close"
Actual results:
Item was added correctly to calendar, both locally in Thunderbird and remotely in Nextcloud CalDAV server.
No invitation email was sent
Expected results:
Invitation email should be sent to invitee.
Added new IMAP account for the same email provider, deleted old account, re-selected in calendar settings.
Now sending invitations, either because
a) a new account was set up, OR
b) the POP (incoming) server settings caused a problem with sending invitations (unlikely?)
The POP settings were working prior to TB91.
Should this still be listed as a bug?
Thanks.
