The fonts should have looked much nicer. I have opened the file in Preview to confirm that it should have looked nice.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::PDF Viewer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Reproduced on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly (2022-03-07), beta 98.0 and release 97.0.2.
Setting up flags and a severity of S4.

Did you reproduce this only on Mac or on other platforms too?

Hi,
I'm taking Andrei's place for this bug. I tried to reproduce the issue in release 99, beta 100.0b3 and the latest nightly 101.0a1 (2022-04-10) but on my end, there is no difference between Fx and macOS preview. There is a small font difference using Windows 10, between Fx and Adobe, but the Fx displays the pdf exactly like Chrome.
Thanks.

I wonder if this is only happening on a specific version of macOS then...

:watsonbladd, could you check that the bug is fixed or not in the last nightly build ? Thank you.

The bug seems fixed now, even in 111.0.1
