Steps to reproduce:

I installed firefox-98.0-2.fc35.x86_64, started it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 MOZ_LOG="PlatformDecoderModule:5" firefox, changed media.ffmpeg.vaapi.enabled to true and attempted to play a video from youtube.

Actual results:

VA-API did not start and the following error was shown in the console:
