I think I've already said everything there is to be say. Go to PC Magazine and
try to download one of their files. I got the same error as already reported --
file cannot be saved because the source cannot be found. It seems to me,
though, that once I thought it was my machine and I cold booted and on the first
attempt I actually did download a file. But later, after another boot, I
couldn't download -- from the same place (PC Magazine). Today, I have tried to
download images from a variety of sites. It was very confusing. I'd save them
and then try to add them to Outlook. The files just didn't exist, but Mozilla
had apparently saved them, going through the process without complaint. I
opened IE6, pasted the URL in its location bar, and then went to these same URLs
and downloaded the jeg images with IE6 and had no problem doing so.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.To to a URL with a Photo or a program
2.Select "Save Image to DisK" or whatever to get the program download going
3.Be mystified by error message or the fact that the image you thought you just
saved was not saved at all.

Actual Results:
I opened IE6 and did what I'd asked Mozilla to do, downloading programs and
images as the old Mozilla used to do without problem.

Expected Results:
Good old Mozilla should actually have downloaded the program and downloaded the
images

Win 2k pro -- cable connection, Linksys modem -- no error messages with faulty
jpg image saves -- when you try to save an image, the image just doesn't ever
appear in Explorer -- Mozilla did generate an error report after trying to
download a jpg on the site of the record company that produces albums in the USA
for a group called "The Streets"
