Steps to reproduce:

  • Working on trying to understand bug 1726319
  • Monitoring changes to folderCache.json to understand that bug
  • saw changing message counts in a folder that I didn't touch

Additional info, I'm running TB99b1 on Win11, the AAA folder is on an outlook.office365.com account, the BBB folder is on a dovecot server on freeBSD, so this issue is mailserver independent.

...and in the AAA folder they're gone again
