Steps to reproduce:

1. Open PDF file:
   for example https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8820244/pdf/NEJMoa2116414.pdf
   Not always but in many PDF files, this will reproduce. I can not tell the specific features among them.

2. Select lines or search some terms.

Actual results:

The selections (highlights) are shifted leftwards. See screenshot.

Expected results:

The positions of selection should cover the texts.

The issue is also reproducible on Windows 10 but I believe it might be a duplicate of Bug 1742939

Calixte, does that seem right?
