User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.2b/mozilla-win32-1.2b-installer.exe I've installed Mozilla 1.2a earlier today (there was no mozilla in the machine)... When I run it it told me that 1.2beta was available, so I downloaded it and installed it on top of the 1.2a (upgrade) The first page I visited had Flash so the Get Plug-in popup sent me to the macromedia flash player 6 for netscape download page. When I clicked the download link an error message told me that a temp file (random name) at "C:\documents and setting\...\..." was not found. Of course, the download didn't start. I've tried a couple of pages with download links and the same happened. Now I'm running 1.2a again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to any page with a download link (I've only tried .exe downloads) 2. Try to download the file Actual Results: An error message appears telling that a temp file was not found. Expected Results: Prompt for a destination folder for the file.
Was the exact message perhaps "C:\documents and setting\...\... could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator."? - if so, dupe of bug 171441. (Fix by deleting compreg.dat, please resolve as duplicate.)
Yep, it was that. Sorry... I'll try not to post a dupe again *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 171441 ***
